   Recently, France has passed a law regarding food waste.  This law states that all food that was going to be thrown away in stores, farms, or warehouses be donated to charity. This helps food from being wasted, causing less food to go into landfills, which is better for the environment. BMW i3 The new BMW i3 is a new car BMW recently released. It is BMW's first all electric model. It has created a benchmark in sustainability, and as the chairman of board management for BMW AG says, "Innovation drives change. The i3 is more than just a car. It's a revolutionary step towards sustainable mobility. It is purpose-built around an electric power train to serve the needs of our mega city customers." This car is lighter than most cars, it's weight being around 2364 pounds. Although it still offers space for 4 people. Eiffel Tower becomes Green Tower The Eiffel tower is now being used as a source for green energy. UGE (Urban Green Energy) has installed wind turbines just above the second level. These turbines could produce over 10,000 KwH of electricity. UGE says there turbines are virtually silent and are designed to work in urban areas. “The Eiffel Tower is arguably the most renowned architectural icon in the world, and we are proud that our advanced technology was chosen as the Tower commits to a more sustainable future.” That was said by the CEO of UGE. The Eiffel tower has also received heat pumps, LED lights, and a rainwater recovery system. Article   project details
