Eiffel Tower becomes Green Tower

The Eiffel tower is now being used as a source for green energy. UGE (Urban Green Energy) has installed wind turbines just above the second level. These turbines could produce over 10,000 KwH of electricity. UGE says there turbines are virtually silent and are designed to work in urban areas. “The Eiffel Tower is arguably the most renowned architectural icon in the world, and we are proud that our advanced technology was chosen as the Tower commits to a more sustainable future.” That was said by the CEO of UGE. The Eiffel tower has also received heat pumps, LED lights, and a rainwater recovery system.

Air Pollution Next post in series Samuel Desai Many environmental activists, unlike me, like to say that pollution is an important issue. I prefer to categorize them into three different topics. Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, and Light Pollution. The other types of pollution are for another week but don't worry, you will hear about them soon. You may believe that Carbon Dioxide (CO2) it the only pollutant, but it isn't. There are others. One type is methane gas, emitted by livestock and swamps. Another CFC's or chlorofluorocarbons which were used in refrigerators, hairspray, and many other things. But they were banned internationally in 2010 because of its deteriorating effect on the ozone layer. Personally, I think that the pollutant which harms us the most is sulfur dioxide. MODEL X!!!!

Recently, the Tesla model X came out, and by recently, I mean yesterday! Elon Musk said this stuff on  twitter . With a whopping price of 130,000 and more it is very costly, but, the  car is great. The Tesla model X is a family friendly,  and and safe car. It seats 7, with 2 fold-able seats in the third row. The signature series, includes a 90 kWh battery pack, autopilot and self driving functions, and third  row seats. for 10,000 more dollars, ludicrous mode will be added to the X, making it go from 0-60 in  3.2   seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, for 1,000 more dollars, there is the subzero weather package, including heated steering wheel, seat heaters, heated washer fluid, and wiper defrosters. Also, for 750 more dollars, the car will be able to heave 5000 lbs. The falcon wing doors that the X has have sensors to keep them from slamming into walls, so it will stop at a certain point. On No! Bees Are Endangered Because of Habitat Alteration ! By: Kaden Chien The IUCN has recently discovered a new Species of Bees called Bombus Fraternus. The Bombus Fraternus is a North American bee that is Endangered because of Habitat Alteration. This may be due to human activity such as Cutting down Trees or pollution. This species may go extinct in 80-90 years if this activity keeps up. Efforts to help with this species is going up. But what is strange is that where there are larger efforts, the population in those states are decreasing more than other states!
