  TOP 10 greenest Cars

  1.  BMW i3. You may have seen my other post on the i3. It gets 81 MPER (Miles per electric range)
  2. Volkswagen E-golf. Gets 83 MPER, but is not as fast as the i3.
  3.  Nissan Leaf. 84 MPER, but goes slower than the first two cars.
  4. Toyota Prius. Extremely popular, gets 50 combined MPG, has a lot of blind spots.
  5. Honda Accord hybrid. Gets 47 combined MPG. The normal accord is popular, but the hybrid? not so much.
  6. Tesla Model S. Gets 208-270 MPER. I think this one should be at the very top. It not only has a higher MPER, but it also goes fast.
  7. Chevrolet Volt. 40 MPG on gas, 380 on electric range.
  8. Toyota Camry hybrid. 41 combined MPG.
  9. Ford C-max hybrid. 40 combined MPG
  10. Volkswagen Jetta TDI. 36 combined MPG.
After this post there will be one more during the schoolyear, and then your green tech updates will continue through the summer, but will not come on as often.

Air Pollution Next post in series Samuel Desai Many environmental activists, unlike me, like to say that pollution is an important issue. I prefer to categorize them into three different topics. Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, and Light Pollution. The other types of pollution are for another week but don't worry, you will hear about them soon. You may believe that Carbon Dioxide (CO2) it the only pollutant, but it isn't. There are others. One type is methane gas, emitted by livestock and swamps. Another CFC's or chlorofluorocarbons which were used in refrigerators, hairspray, and many other things. But they were banned internationally in 2010 because of its deteriorating effect on the ozone layer. Personally, I think that the pollutant which harms us the most is sulfur dioxide. MODEL X!!!!

Recently, the Tesla model X came out, and by recently, I mean yesterday! Elon Musk said this stuff on  twitter . With a whopping price of 130,000 and more it is very costly, but, the  car is great. The Tesla model X is a family friendly,  and and safe car. It seats 7, with 2 fold-able seats in the third row. The signature series, includes a 90 kWh battery pack, autopilot and self driving functions, and third  row seats. for 10,000 more dollars, ludicrous mode will be added to the X, making it go from 0-60 in  3.2   seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, for 1,000 more dollars, there is the subzero weather package, including heated steering wheel, seat heaters, heated washer fluid, and wiper defrosters. Also, for 750 more dollars, the car will be able to heave 5000 lbs. The falcon wing doors that the X has have sensors to keep them from slamming into walls, so it will stop at a certain point. On No! Bees Are Endangered Because of Habitat Alteration ! By: Kaden Chien The IUCN has recently discovered a new Species of Bees called Bombus Fraternus. The Bombus Fraternus is a North American bee that is Endangered because of Habitat Alteration. This may be due to human activity such as Cutting down Trees or pollution. This species may go extinct in 80-90 years if this activity keeps up. Efforts to help with this species is going up. But what is strange is that where there are larger efforts, the population in those states are decreasing more than other states!
