PROJECT GED AND SPRING LEADERSHIP RELEASE

Hello there,

I have been working really hard in the last few weeks for blog version 6.3, which just came out 30 minutes before this post was published. Here is the other information we have decided on.

Technology Support

Earlier this week, our primary tech person, Alan, told me he needed to step down from his position. He felt that being the head of the tech was too much for him. He will still help with the code for GED but we will have someone else take his place. We will have Kevin W take his place.

New Recruits

We have recruited 4th grader Carolyn Fu to the blog dev team. Welcome, Carolyn. She will be a major contributor to the update blog version 7, which will come out next month.

Project GED

We have planned a new project called GED. Here are all of the details.

This project, known as GED, (Gift Earth Day). Will show you a daily fact on the 20 days till earth day, and earth day itself. Hence, the 21 days of earth day. We are currently writing the code for it. We estimate it will be  about 100 lines long in javascript.

Project B8

Project B8 was to create a star wars scroll on a redirect page. There were some issues with development of this, so we most likely will not do this project.

Project Green Milk

Project Green Milk has been modified, it will tell you a secret.

Air Pollution Next post in series Samuel Desai Many environmental activists, unlike me, like to say that pollution is an important issue. I prefer to categorize them into three different topics. Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, and Light Pollution. The other types of pollution are for another week but don't worry, you will hear about them soon. You may believe that Carbon Dioxide (CO2) it the only pollutant, but it isn't. There are others. One type is methane gas, emitted by livestock and swamps. Another CFC's or chlorofluorocarbons which were used in refrigerators, hairspray, and many other things. But they were banned internationally in 2010 because of its deteriorating effect on the ozone layer. Personally, I think that the pollutant which harms us the most is sulfur dioxide. MODEL X!!!!

Recently, the Tesla model X came out, and by recently, I mean yesterday! Elon Musk said this stuff on  twitter . With a whopping price of 130,000 and more it is very costly, but, the  car is great. The Tesla model X is a family friendly,  and and safe car. It seats 7, with 2 fold-able seats in the third row. The signature series, includes a 90 kWh battery pack, autopilot and self driving functions, and third  row seats. for 10,000 more dollars, ludicrous mode will be added to the X, making it go from 0-60 in  3.2   seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, for 1,000 more dollars, there is the subzero weather package, including heated steering wheel, seat heaters, heated washer fluid, and wiper defrosters. Also, for 750 more dollars, the car will be able to heave 5000 lbs. The falcon wing doors that the X has have sensors to keep them from slamming into walls, so it will stop at a certain point. Weekly endangered species report

On No! Bees Are Endangered Because of Habitat Alteration ! By: Kaden Chien The IUCN has recently discovered a new Species of Bees called Bombus Fraternus. The Bombus Fraternus is a North American bee that is Endangered because of Habitat Alteration. This may be due to human activity such as Cutting down Trees or pollution. This species may go extinct in 80-90 years if this activity keeps up. Efforts to help with this species is going up. But what is strange is that where there are larger efforts, the population in those states are decreasing more than other states!
